Introduction
Welcome to the tutorial section of the CP Social plugin. These tutorials will guide you through the process of setting up and implementing this plugin in your Unity project.
Initial setup
Make sure you have all the required plugins installed as mentioned here. After installing these plugins you can import the CP Social plugin by dragging the UnityPackage into your project. Or with you project opened in Unity, double click the UnityPackage file.
Unity will give you a popup of all the files in the package, just click import to add them to the project.
The configurator
The configurator is the place where you setup everything around your app/game, here is where add and edit achievements and manage your app id's. The configurator can be found by going to:
Window -> CP Social -> Open configurator
This will create a new scriptable object in your project window called 'CPSocialSettings'
. This asset can be found in your resource folder, everytime you open the configurator this asset will be highlighted, so if you every need it, you can just open the configurator to find it.
Assets/Resources/CPSocial/CPSocialSettings.asset
This scriptable object contains all the information needed for CP Social to work properly, so don't delete it and expect CP Social to work as expected.
App info
In the app info tab is where you add your app id's and bundle id for your game. The app id is only used by the configurator to navigate to the third party configuration websites but if you need it in your game logic you can get it from the CP_Settings
